Weather for Sevierville Tennessee Forecast

Sevierville TN is a delightful travel destination! Sevierville, with a permanent population of under 11,000, has the moxie to entertain tens of thousands with its astonishing range of music theaters, kids attractions, shopping outlets and malls, golf courses and it's historic downtown. In addition, it's known internationally as the hometown of Dolly Parton.

Sevierville, Tennessee (pronounced Se-VEER-vill, with accent on the second syllable), is a small mountain town named for John Sevier, the first governor of Tennessee. It traces it's roots back to just after the founding of this country, when pioneers left the "crowded" east moved west to establish homes and farms. It wasn't until the develpment of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GSMNP) that Sevierville, TN started attracting tourists as a getaway for millions of visitors each year. Today the area gets over 9 million visitors a year, giving the Smoky Mountains the title of "most visited National Park". Large and small corporate, church and family groups get to choose from hotels and motels, to bed and breakfast inns and cabins and chalets around Sevierville.
